There is no signage for this fort. This fort had a nice little courtyard and only one tower. Under the tower are two rooms. Take the steps up to the tower but watch out for the hole.

On the pictures it appeared as a big castle, but when you go there, you will realize it is a small fortress - pretty amazing, but not much to see. It is a standalone building, no restaurant or any other tourist supporting facilities.
We popped into this fort on our way to the Moreeb dunes as we could see this fort from our hotel balcony.
The fort is open 24/7 and is free to enter. Not much to see except rooms and a great view from the top....More
Very fast visit, only 10 minutes. I almost crushed a baby just born bird dropped from the nest as we were the only visitors there and many birds went away as soon we step inside. Lucky, we brought him back the Liwa hotel (5 minutes)...More
I found this fort via a UAE Off-Road Book. It was right off E90, down a short road. It appeared to be open all the time, and had some nice views of the dunes. You can just walk inside, and climb up to the top...More
