We spent a day driving from camps bay to simons Town and then cape of good hope. The beauty of this National Park is unsurpassed. Baboons all around. Funicular ride is a must. The best views are at the top. Simply breathtaking.

We enjoy the scenic drive through False Bay to Cape Point Nature Reserve. The Flying Dutchman Funicular to the hillcrest of Cape of Good Hope was not working but shuttle bus ride up is fast and efficient. It was a cloudy day and very windy...More

We visited Cape of Good Hope in August. It was very cold and windy but very scenic and relaxing. We also walked to Cape Point but I would not recommend it to people above 50 years. There is little support for walking and with winds...More

There's a hike up to a lookout for the fit and energetic. But the main point is to just be there, take in the scenery, and get a selfie in front of the Cape of Good Hope sign. No facilities. Just do it.

We had a group with mostly teenagers and they loved this stop. The views are beautiful. You can opt for a scenic walk along the water or you can choose to climb up the side of the mountain for a little more strenuous hike so...More

You can walk between here and cape point along a lovely coastal route. Unfortunately as we were pressed for time we didn't get to do this but it looks really good. I feel that I should say that there are two different view points. This...More

Even on a sporadically drizzly day, it was a great experience. The imposing cliffs and the expanse of the sea and the crashing waves made the visit truly memorable. Great half day trip... Try to go early before the bus loads of tourists!

It's strange to read about a place in a textbook as a kid and then end up going many years later. So it's great to just be able to say you've been to the Cape of Good Hope. I thought the Cape of Good Hope...More

We were lucky enough to go on a reasonably quiet winter's day - but stil had to elbow people out of the way to get a good photo with the sign!! It is tourist central and you need to be prepared to deal with this....More

Well, for sightseeing I used the red and blue bus it was amazing. Renting a car is good enough but way more expensive.
