Excellent hikes around the valley, and the walk up the valley floor past the waterfalls to the head of the valley takes about 3 hours and is much better than expected, well worth it. There are more challenging walks along the steep sides of the...More

I would highly recommend a visit to the Ordessa National park. During the high season you cannot enter the park other than by bus. This helps control the number of visitors and protects the unique mountain environment. We completed a 12 mile valley walk which...More

One of the most beautiful walks I've ever made. It was about two hours to the top (apparantly the amount of time which is on the signs is meant for really slow people). Loved the view in the valley, all the flowers and the waterfalls.

We walked the full trail to the horse tail fall. Six hours it took us. Worth it. More falls on the way.

We did several hikes in and around Ordesa NP on a self guided tour with Hike Pyrenees. My wife and I have hiked all over the US and in many great spots in Europe. The scenery in the Ordesa Valley has to rank among some...More

We'd been hiking in the French Pyrenees and decided to spend a few days on the spanish side just to get a change of scenery, and we were not disappointed. The park is very well managed and controlled - during peak season you are only...More

The park is great, although massively overcrowded on the main trails... more Disneyland than a National Park if you take the Cascades... make sure you take the difficult trails if you expect less than 50 co-walkers. But be ready to wait more than 1 hour...More

This is a rigorous hike - and so, so worth it. It is around 13 miles round trip, and it took us over 10 hours, because we kept stopping to take photos of the stunning scenery and dip our feet in the multiple lakes and...More

The park is vast and to spend only two days there is not to do it justice. I imagine that one could spend weeks here walking the trails, birdwatching etc if one had the time and a little money.

Absolutely stunning and breath taking. We hiked through the valley on out first day staying in Torla and the second day we went on a 4x4 trip. The 4x4 trip took us right to the top of the Pyrenenees. Amazing! Wild flowers everywhere. So much...More
