A great park on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees, just over the border from France. The park is a warren of walks in this spectacular countryside, from quiet woodland walks top high rough terrain. Lots of quaint towns, sometimes abandoned. Routes are well marked,...More

Ordesa national park was out of this world. We we're on a cooking and walking week and did two days walking in the park. It rained on the Sunday and the waterfalls were fantastic, the trees were just starting to turn and the colours beautiful.

We did only one hike -- about 15 miles. Very nice. Up steep to a view then good trail to end of the valley and return along a series of pools and water falls.

We left for a half day hike at around eight o'clock in the morning. The route was absolutely beautiful and not too crowded. The estimated time for the hike was four hours, but it took as five.

Rather different from the French Pyrénées, it offers magnificent views and a wide variety of walking tracks. Much better sign posted than in france all tracks are easy to follow. A very nice park to discover

Highly recommend Ordesa National Park. Amazing hikes for all skill levels. I would recommend a company called Hike Pyrenees which has both guided and self-guided tour options. Their maps and trail descriptions are excellent
