This is the largest of the 4 ski resorts which caters to skiers of all levels. Very busy even in April. Opens until May. Snow was still good for spring ski.

I’ve been here all winter and I can say I haven’t seen so many lifts shut like here. When the sun finally comes out and there’s not much to ski in these area and the snow is not great. A good option is sessions at...More

Grand Hirafu has all the infrastructure you could wish for, beginner to expert runs and is famous for off-piste and tree runs. Plenty restaurants and cafes and toilets where you need them.

If you like powder, this is the place. After several gondola and lifts, you will get to slopes that are not groomed. From the last lift to the peak, you have to hike up there, but you will meet with fresh snow with no trails...More
