Good walk through the woods but don't bother to go any further. The Forestry Commission are in the middle of reorganising this area and all the info boards are in one pile. The path has disappeared so you walk in bogs. Says will be finished...More

Although the village buildings are gone, there are interpretation panels that explain how things were pre Clearences, so you can get a feel for the times. It's a bit of a walk from the car park but totally worth it. Head down the Syre road...More
