This is a natural beach on the south side of the Lake of Two Mountains. It is within walking distance of Jack Layton Park (a lovely walk through the woods). Excellent swimming as the beach shelves gently into the lake. No dogs allowed off leash.

Visited the beach for the first time this November, so I didn’t quite see a beach. The boardwalk to Jack Layton park and trail in the woods were beautiful and peaceful. We even saw ducks. Enjoy the relaxation!

Located in the heart of the scenic village of Hudson is this nice sandy beach overlooking the lake of the two mountains. Its a short drive after taking the road next to the community center.

Went to Sandy beach on a Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend and my dog. Amazing experience with my dog, where she could swim and enjoy the place. Almost every person had a dog, and I felt like a very friendly environment! On the other hand,...More

An amazing little gem hidden away in tall trees and beautiful trails. Golden sand and perfect paddling water.

Beautiful big old trees, nice beach. Fun for the kids the water is not too deep until you get very far from shore. A great local place to relax.

We enjoyed our afternoon at sandy beach, the dog owners were all responsible and the beach was clean. It is just a shame that the dogs have to remain on leash, off leash would have been so much fun for them! We would certainly return!

There is a sign at the entrance of the park but I do not remember if it says anything about alcoholic beverages. I brought them, nobody checks so just make sure you pick up after yourself.
