We have visited the Expo Park on the first week of April but unluckily the weather on that day was poor. Furthermore, sakura trees were not yet in bloom by then. We just strolled around part of the Park and left for other spots in...More

Arrived at the park at 1pm and left at 6pm (because the park officials were already ushering us out and it was getting dark). In the 5 hours we only managed to spend time at the tulip section and 2 playgrounds in the Natural and...More

This park is huge and great for cherry blossom viewing. But have to avoid visiting during the weekend when sakura is in full bloom as it is crazily crowded since this is a very popular cherry blossom spot for the locals.

It's really a nice and beautiful place for adults and children to go around. Especially there are few foreign visitors so it's quiet and peaceful we visited there during December and Maple is fantastic!

We did not like the Museum of Ethnology (reviewed separately), but really enjoyed the Japanese garden and the museum of Japanese Craft was simple but elegant. Walking the park was pleasant and the Tower of the Sun was really beautiful. As a side note, the...More
