Great for views over Nago, a short drive from the city centre. Some really lovely walking trails, but VERY slippery.

Some of the roads were closed, punctuated by a number of food stalls, games stalls, local products etc. As you walked along the road, it will eventually lead you to the “castle”. There are ALOT of steps, not suited for individuals with poor fitness level....More

Usually, the last weekend of January is the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival on this mountain. It's a good place to hike the nature trails, any time of year. Toilets and drink machines are located in the parking area below the castle mountain.

Although there is no castle here, it's really a nice climb up to the park. This place is also popular with the locals. There's quite a lot of steps and one will need to be more careful when it is raining. Some areas may be...More

A good view from the top overlooking the town. There's a carpark at the bottom for some energetic people and a car park up top for the rest of us. Good views and a breeze with it. Worth a visit if you're in Nago.

Also known as a Nago Central Park, the park occupies a hilltop on the east side of town. The top of the first set of stairs provides a nice view back over town. (The castle site at the top of the hill is forested, and...More

We initially got lost going to the location and parked at the bottom. With the infant in the carrier we took the initial two flights of steps before realising the walk would be a bit too difficult with infant. Advice, take the drive up to...More

I thought by the title there would be something at the end of the never ending staircase, but no. Just a 100ft by 100ft clearing. It might be at least a nice view if the cherry trees were in bloom.
