The name of this place is called "Onikoube". It means the head of a demon.
Long time ago, there was a local samurai whose name was "Ohtakemaru" and he was against the powers at that time. The legend of him was that he fought like a demon and when he was beheaded his head flew to this place.
When we reached there at 9:00 am, the parking lot was vacant.
There is a well maintained promenade along the river called "Yunokawa" but some parts are rough, so I recommend you to wear some comfortable shoes. The mountain side of the promenade has a lot of geyser points. These looked powerful. Unfortunately, this time the promenade was closed along the way...
We could reach a river of hot springs, so we made a small Onsen using stones we found by the river.
