The main building is designated as a National Treasure a couple of years ago. This is the home of "Hachiman" shrines which spreads all over Japan. I bought a good luck charm years ago and it was so powerful that I succeeded in many challenges....More

I went here by cable which you don't really need it. It's better go climb and not the hard! 外国人の友達を連れて行きました。大き過ぎず、小さ過ぎず丁度良いサイズで元気があればケーブルカーを使わずに歩いて登れる距離です。今回はケーブルカーを使いましたが次回は歩きたいです。

This shrine can certainly not compete with the major shrines in Kyoto. Still, it is a very nice temple on the top of a fill. It offers an authentic experience away from the mainstream touristic circuits.

I used to live in Kadoma, Osaka, and it was my family ritual to visit this old, red, Shinto shrine, in the first three days of year. There are dozen booths selling various sweets and junk toys but the number of vendors is no comparison...More
