As many castle in Japan, Hirado castle is not an old building. But the whole complex, the exhibition inside the castle and also the view is it worth to spend the entrance fee.

Here you can get a feeling of an old castle, where the Matsuura clan lived and see artefacts from the period. It was built in 1718, demolished 1872 and reconstructed in 1962. I went with a group.
