I have been this temple since when I was born. It's seems so changed a lots to good way. I love the view from this temple.

Famous locally for its gardens in which plum blossoms can be admired in late winter / early spring. There is also a nice tahoutou pagoda. The surrounding mountain is great for a hike.

So fascinating! I enjoyed visiting and learning about this temple from the locals. I would definitely recommend visiting Nakayamadera.

It is a huge complex inside, however when I went the entire back half was under construction and so I missed a lot of it. But the part I did see was beautiful! Interesting how they have escalators to get up the stairs.
