A real gem of a cathedral with wonderful trees outside. Lots and lots of weddings so could not go inside. Historical place as Calvin and Luther of reformation fame were based here. Great town to overnight on your way back to the uk or heading...More

Dates back to the 11th century and similar to Notre Dam. A really interesting and well preserved piece of architecture.

Very impressive cathedral in a lovely square in the middle of Noyon. Walked around a bit and asked for a stamp for my pilgrim passport.

Really worth the detour if nearby. There's even a small memorial for British soldiers killed in the wars. They do close for their lunch time, so be aware of what time you are visiting.

A very impressive cathedral which merits a detour to Noyon if you're not already in town. Make a point to spend a little time here.

The only time you can visit the library is during the world heritage days in September. It's a must-see: old wooden building with very old books. The cathedral is an early gothic building. The visit is definitely worth it.
