Coming from Sonoma wine country, it was a delight to go to this beautiful wine growing region. But the wines were a total disappointment! The trip through beautiful and scenic countryside via train was still worthwhile.

Great selection of wines to buy. Wine tasting amazing as for a small fee can taste over 50 types of Japanese wine. Well worth a visit if Japanese wine was a your thing.

They have a cellar downstairs underground to taste dozen of wines from the region but be aware that the quality is far away from the European wines (mainly because of pergola grown grapes...).
