We went there at nearly full bloom. There are many varieties of wisteria - different colors and sizes. Some large wisteria trees are impressive. The layout of the garden is excellent. When tired, there are always resting places nearby. People can simply rest, have a...More

This park is surprisingly large and jam packed with a beautiful variety of flowers! Scenic walkways everywhere. The wisteria were unfortunately done (except for some yellow) when we went, but there is plenty left to see. I was amazed by the variety.

No words to describe how beautiful the Wisteria flowers are. Absolutely loved it and wouldn’t mind visiting again. You could spend hours just gazing at the magnificent trees. A must visit during Wisteria Flower bloom period.

Hi Brian, according to their own predictions, there will be hydrangeas flowering then. I think the roses and clematis would have finished. And too early for their Amethyst Sage and Autumn Roses. Ashikaga is on a JR line so... More

Not really. The Great Wisteria Festival is still going on and will be available until May 20. There were some flowers last April when we went that were only about to bloom. Bring a hat cause it is hot and not a lot of shade.
