Tokiwa going to Sado is newer and more gorgeous than Okesa coming back to Niigata. 2 hours and half was not long and I could relax in a first class chair seat(US$30 one way ) which should be much better than 2nd though I cannot...More

You can choose the kind of room you want even the cheapest one is comfortable. (you kinda picnic on the raised step mat floor with blanket. you can enjoy food or sleep) . Another thing you should not miss is feeding the seagull with shrimp...More

The atmosphere on the ferry is very homy, There are no seats but everybody just lay down relaxingly. The on and off the boat is efficient and the views along the way are good with a lot of sea gulls accompanying the ferry
