An amazing place - a long sweeping cable car ride up into the clouds takes you to the walkways/paths. You can do as much or as little as you like and still have a sense of majesty of the place. We went up the south...More

We travelled there during the National holidays (specifically Wednesday and Thursday) which is the worst time to travel in China, because everyone is doing that as well. We got up at 4:30 and took a ride to the eastern cable car (2-day entry and 1...More

This is my second time I visited Sanqingshan. Allow me to share my experiences with you. Transportation: I prefer the high-speed train, which is relatively cheap and comfortable. The nearest station is Yushan South Station 玉山南. After arriving at train station, there are 3 options...More

Probably one of my favorite places I have ever visited in many trips to China. Scenery is absolutely like living in a Chinese landscape painting. We started from the South Entrance, took the gondola up the mountain at 7:30 a.m. and hiked until we took...More

San Qing Shan is a beautiful park with stunning rock formations and panoramic hiking trails. It is a lot like Huangshan but without the crowds//incessant aggressive salespersons. The mountaintop hiking trails were narrow but paved and well maintained. At times there were chokepoints, which were...More

If you mean "Shanghai," the answer is that it's about 2.5 hours on the train to Shangrao, and then an hour or so by bus/car/shuttle to the mountain. Well worth it, however.
