The museum is rather small but the ninjas are informative and entertaining. Make sure to catch the Ninja show and learn more about them. The surrounding green forest area is also very beautiful.

Before we left for Japan, we had put the ninja museum on our must-do list. We were so glad we did. The ninja museum was so much fun. It is about a 1.5 to 2 hour drive from Osaka. We were fortunate to have our...More

The museum charged a steep 750 yen admission which took tourists on a guided tour through the ninja house. Groups of 20-30 were quickly herded through as guides demonstrated various trap doors and secret entrances (scrolls with English explanations would be pulled down when non-Japanese...More

This is it. This is the Ninja Museum in Iga and the Ninja House. Exhibitions include armour, ninja outfits, mizugumo, smoke bombs and so on. The tour of the ninja house was very crowded, but entertaining. The ninja guide went in a cupboard and shut...More

if you're interested in ninjas then this is a must see. It's not a large place, one could make it through in 2 hours or so tops. Unfortunately I got there somewhat late and didn't get to see everything, but would definitely like to go...More

A. NINJA SHOW The show here was basically a clown show - using each of the different ninja weapons. Each victim was overacting and making ridiculous faces that the kids laughed at. They even had those cartoony sound effects. It was all in Japanese. It...More

There is only one really big problem with the Iga-ryu Ninja Museum: it's in Iga Ueno. There's nothing else in Iga Ueno, and it's remarkably difficult and time-consuming to get there. (It's also the birthplace of Basho Matsuo, THE great haiku poet, but nobody seems...More

You will have a chance to dress like a ninja and learn how they use the tricks and weapons. The show is a must see even u have to pay 300 yen on top of the entry ticket.

It's the Ninja museum and Ninja show that you will remember about this day out in the "country". I's a lot of fun and I just cannot remember anywhere else in Japan hearing or seeing an actual Ninja demonstration. It's out of the way. It's...More

Ninja may have been more spies than assassins in real life, but the equipment and information in the museum are definitely worth seeing, if you have an interest in ninja. The items are labelled and explained in English and Japanese.

No need to reserve or book ahead. But make sure to look up the time of the shows as it varies per day.

I looked up Koka Village, and if you're near there and going to visit it, I suggest just skip this. They are basically the same thing except Im not sute if Koka has the Ninja show.
