I hate walking into an unfamiliar pub, but a waggy tail welcome from a friendly spaniel broke any worries. This pub seams to be a very popular oasis for locals and occasional visitors like my husband and I. Found a small table which was adequate...More

Tucked away down a country lane but walking distance from the train station. Great welcome, local beers, and good food. Sometimes has themed evenings. The tapas and Prosecco is my favourite. Pets are welcome too.

Excellent beers, genuine home cooking - slow cooked pork belly, cod & sirloin followed by the Jewel, fruit crumble. This is a friendly old-school pub and enjoy every visit.

Garden really bad , looks like a tip in places . Not conducive to a nice evening out . So disappointing . Didn't stay to sample food !! Nowhere to sit .
