Found Sigmaringen when we driving back from somewhere else. We hadn't heard of it but when we saw it we thought we'd go back another day. We didn't go in the castle but we just had a look around and a walk by the river...More

Worth the climb to the top of the hill. To visit the castle one must follow a guided tour in German. However, the printed handouts in English and French served us just fine as we toured this historic castle. As France fell to the Allies,...More

Sigmaringen castle is worth seeing. It is on the top of the hill where you can sea breathtaking view and Donau river. Which is the second longest river in Europe.

I loved it. The tour is in German starting every hour. If you arrive between the tours you can visit the armory. The audioguide is free to take the tour with. The biggest collection of arms in existence still. The castle itself is impressive. Even...More

Interesting castle....tour was very informative The castle had been lived in for many years, and had a part in world history at many times. It gives you a feeling for the time span that the castle covers.
