Moving and informative amazing location. Small car park a place to sit and reflect what those people named and him endured and sacrificed for us all.

A beautifully situated memorial to David Stirling the founder of the SAS. There is a large bronze statue on a large stone, it looks like the photos I have seen on him. The view of the surrounding countryside is breathtaking. The statue sits in a...More

One of my favourite places with fantastic views over the hills. Parking is ok. Has a wild freedom feel to it but is well maintained and clean. Thought provoking when reading about the history of Sir David Stirling and reading the names of the fallen.

We came across this by accident but I'm glad we did. There was a statue of Sir David, and a plaque telling you about the founding of the SAS. The views from this location are amazing.

The position of this memorial gives an outstanding view towards Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi, Ben Vorlich and the green valley on the approach to the highlands. The monument itself is a very strong representation of Sir David Stirling and in turn for the SAS regiment....More

This monument is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. However, it looks at home, with Sir David looking out over the moors.
