You will enjoy the boat ride from Alibaug to here but ensure not to visit between 12 noon - 3pm, specially during summer! A total no no, unless you are in a mood to get super tanned!

Kolaba fort is in alibag beach. One need to cross the beach via boats to reach the fort. They charge around 120 RS per person. People there are very helpful. Nice fort with scenic view. The cool breeze is amazing. Really enjoyed

The place is easily accessible on foot at low tide. The place is good for some photos through the actual heritage is not much seen. There are also two small temples here

Fort is almost 2-3 KM from seashore. There is nothing much inside the fort. If you want to do timepass, this will be a good place for you.

We went early morning and it was a delight. It is neat and clean and well Mintained and gives feeling of a village as there is some habitation inside the fort. Allow yourself 1.5 - 2 hours to explore the fort at an easy pace.
