Visited Kolaba Fort. Nice historical fort. Must check high tide and low tide timing before planning visit. Can walk all the way to fort during low tide.also horse cart available on beach who cannot walk. We spend around 1 hour to see the fort. Enjoyed...More

Kolaba fort lies in the middle of the sea and is accessible from the Alibag beach. During low tide you can reach to the fort by walking in the shallow waters. It takes around 15-20 mins of walking. Another option is the horse cart ride....More

It is a very old fort built like any other Maratha fort surrounded by the sea from all sides. It also houses a temple. If the water level is low you can walk till the fort or also take a horse cart. Clean and nice...More

The Kolaba fort is some distance away from the shore inside the sea at Alibag beach.. Everyone should visit the fort atleast once.. The fort is open for viewing during afternoon to early evening.. You can take horse carts or also walk upto the fort.....More

Fort is worn out though a lot of bastions are intact. Good for one Time visit. You can walk to the Fort or take a horse cart. Fort closes at 06.30 pm. You can spend from 1 to 1.5 hours in the Fort.

You can stay in alibaug.No provision to stay in fort.
