Shree Swami Samarth of Akkalkot, was an Indian Guru of the Dattatreya tradition. The temple has lot of positive energy and you will feel rejuvenated !! Thursday is Swami's day so it gets crowded but the experiance is divine.

We visited this temple along with a few friends. It is a nice serene place and not overly commercialized unlike most Indian temples. There is a banyan tree under which Swami Samartha used to meditate as part of the temple. Overall a nice experience.

There are no good hotels nearby. Best option is to stay in Solapur and drive here. It takes a couple of hours to drive here. You can visit the Triveni sangam nearby.
