I personally prefer this tower than the Oriental Pearl Tower, based on my own experience from past visit to Shanghai. It's less crowded, offering the same view.

Did this in a tour after a cruise. 88 stories up. Gorgeous building, gorgeous views. You can walk 360. You can also go outside on 88, strap yourself in and hope not to have a heart attack. Interesting view inside looking straight down into the...More

One of the tallest buildings in the world, its worth to visit for sweeping views of Shanghai. See the pics I have posted to get an idea. For the brave, there is also a skywalk. The entire viewing zone is well designed with many photo...More

Like many other buildings in Shanghai this place is an architectural masterpiece. It is flanked by two other similarly impressive towers that appear to twist as they rise up into the sky. The lift is very fast rising to the 81st floor in no time....More

I feel that Shanghai is a city of contrast. Two widely different poles intersecting in a chaotic way. Old meets new. Modern meets old school. Refined meets raw. Cross over the Huangpu and here I am in the middle of Lujiazui, an epitome of modern...More

The JinMao Tower is the most attractive of the 3 towers. Once you get to the 88th floor there is a lot of interesting information presented outlining the distinctive features of the building and about what each of the features represents. The view is interesting...More

This was definitely the tower to go up in on the 88th floor so you can see the 'bottle opener' (Shanghai World Financial Center), Oriental Pearl Tower, the Bund, and the Huangpu River. The smog/pollution was so bad; everything is in a haze. You can...More

Try to take the trip up on a clear day for the best photos. Stop at the gift shop for unique crafts to take home. Once down, why not enjoy a fresh fruit or veggie smoothie in the little shop at the entrance to the...More

This tower was a pleasant experience on a clear day. It afforded a close up view of the soon (2016?) to be opened Shanghai Tower, the Shanghai WFC bottle opener and a great perspective on the city generally. At 120 RMB each, it's not cheap...More

Enjoy the visual delights of the fabulous city of Shanghai from the 88th floor of this beautiful building. The high speed elevators are truly remarkable with their smooth ride to the viewing level. The building is open to visitors both day and night. If time...More
