Come here to catch a ferry, organise excursions, do food shopping, eat at night markets, have a drink, arrange a dive etc. Saladan has it all.

Staff at check in for the Satun Pakbara speed boat friendly, efficient and helpful. Pleasant little bar/restaurant with shade. Money changer also available. Toilets should be upgraded.

Fabulous place for shopping inthe market and the indoor market. Lovely restaurants built on stilts over the sea. We visited mostly at night as it can be hot during the day. Lots of fun

There is a good chance you won’t be able to avoid this part of town as all the ferries dock here. It is bustling with lots to see and do and can get quite chaotic at times. Nevertheless it is great fun and we often...More

It was an experience least to say. The re bar naming out of the smashed cement looked daunting but all in all it was a safe transfer. The ferry is going back and forth all day and they know what they are doing there.
