We visited in the late afternoon which we found better as it was cooler and most of the tour buses had gone, so it was easier to walk round this ancient temple... this city used to be the capital of Thailand many years ago. The...More

Out next trip was done at Wat Chaiwatthanaram in Ayutthaya, Thailand. This facility is huge and is just near a river. The facility is good for picture taking. A really beautiful place to know the country’s rich heritage.

You can spend hours and admire the ruins. Incredible to imagine how this would have looked in its entirety.

A very old temple complex that has fallen into ruin. Too bad it is not in the middle of a jungle but in the middle of a provincial capital... ( it does make it easier to get around of course....)

Really nice old temple. There are trees around, so you can just lay on grass and chill. Remember you need to be respectful when visiting these sites. Wear appropriate clothing or you wont be let in.

Yes, same rules everywhere. So better to have spare cloths ready if you have to be on shorts.

Probably around 2-3hrs, you can dress up with some stalls outside which a lot of people do. It’s suppose to be really stunning at night time so maybe go late afternoon and see the place lit up.
