The bridge itself isn't very special. But if you know the story of the pow behind it or will make more sense why this is a popular tourist spot.

This is the main thing to do when you visit Kanchanaburi. The famous film ‘Bridge over river Kwai’ is based on the story of this bridge and the Japanese occupation of this area during Second World War

While on this trip you can also learn a lot about the history of WWII. Take a walk through the museum, a boat ride up the river, or just walk around the area.

You shouldn't have any problem. If we made it without any problems I'm sure you will be able. No need to walk all the way over the bridge. Hope you appreciate it as much as these two grey surfers.
