Wonderful area to walk and look at all the old buildings and markets ,You also have the sea and fishing boats.Little coffee shops all along the way to stop and rest or take a horse and carriage.

Akko/Acre is known as the Crusader city and is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's a beautiful port city. Be sure to visit the Citadel.

For the best experiece, I I suggest a guided tour through the facility to understand the details. There are a few short tunnels to travel through. Literally, you have to bend/crouch to pass through

Suggest you get a guided tour, simply because it has so much to see, you can't apreciate the wonderful old town unless you understand something of it's history

Small and interesting streets. In some of them you can find the market. There are a few streets with restaurants. Interesting for adults and children.

Suggest to park outside the old town and walk to the center. Much more convenient.
