We were really looking forward to visiting the gold souk again.Unfortunately as soon as we entered shop keepers were almost pulling us into their shops.After 30 minutes of this uncomfortable hard sell we decided to call it a day and go home.Extremely disappointed.

There is approximately 5% tax which you can claim back at the airport- but you will get approximately 85% back of the 5% you paid in shop

Nope you are good with any currency American and Credit Cards they take just about anything or there make sure you inform your bank credit cards companies that you are traveling so your purchase is not declined at first
