This Catholic Cathedral was started in the 1600's and opened in 1796. It is having a face lift now as the Pope is coming to visit in 2019. Didn't get to go inside but the architecture is great from the outside.
Interesting architecture outside with the two colors. Beautiful building. If you are coming by car, it can be a while as traffic in this part of town is horrible. I would get out earlier and walk if you can make it.

This is among the oldest structure in the Historical district and it is close to a number of other attractions. This historical structure was completed in 1796 after a century of construction together with the twin bell towers.
