This part of the wall was 2 hours outside of central Beijing but it was definitely worth it. The wall was spectacular and there was hardly anybody else there. Most of the wall is original and very steep and rather challenging so wear good shoes....More

We visited this part of the Great Wall after visiting the Mutianyu section and were absolutely delighted with it. This section is virtually unrestored and completely unspoilt. There is a small charge made by locals to pass through their land but it is worth much...More

This is a must see and do when in Beijing. Climbing the wall, you can see the watchtowers and enjoy the sight of the meandering great wall.

From the parking where Peter drove us to, it is just a 10 min steep walk through a little forest, then you have to climb on the wall, just two meters, and Peter helps. Not complicated at all.
