The things I like about this place, it is clean, have a big store inside, comfortable to shopping, wide range of product selection offered. The only thing that I dont like about silk street is have to bargain.

The prices in Silk Street were higher than at Pearl Market. The staff were friendlier and more helpful at Pearl Market, haggling was fun and I had a better shopping experience there.

Wald place for shopping. Little bet of everything between the two. Just wish they were closer together. When shopping what ever the price you're given, start with half of that price. Just walk away, and watch the price go down to below what you would...More

Everything under one roof, but you've to be prepared to barter hard, never take the first price. Language no problem, enjoy your day and grab a load of bargains.

I came here twice. Once 1st thing on a Tuesday. You can't just look at an item without being pestered to death. I would have purchased more even with the bargaining but they harass you to much. I went back the next night about 7pm...More

Unless you go to the top floors, everything is cheap quality or a famous brand fake. I touched a "silk" scarf and the salesperson was on me in a second to offer me a great price: 450 yuan. I kept saying "no" and tried to...More

Cheap knock offs. Photos of foreign politicians shopping who should have better taste. There is some good food on the top floor. Wear dark glasses so no one will know you visited. Waste of an hour for me.

Yes. My husband bought a great pair of sunglasses and even prescription eyeglasses. They were able to make his prescription eyeglasses in 1/2 hour and he loves them.
