First of all, we speak Chinese. For 280 yuan each, we took a guided tour to Great Wall at Badaling. This is where most Chinese leaders, foreign leaders and delegates visited during their trip. It is more original and ruin compared to Great Wall at...More

Great Wall of China is a must-see attraction for all people around the world. However the daily management of this site needs to be further improved. There are too many tourists at Badalin and Jvyongguan section of the wall all year round. It gives a...More

A truly impressive place to visit and wonder at this incredible architectural acheivement. Although the length of the 4 thousand mile wall that is suitable for tourists to visit is limited and therefore busy, it is truly stunning. However, it is not for the infirm,...More

Just imagining the labor and suffering that was endured to make this astounding and protective wall is amazing. The size, height and span is not truly realized until seen and experienced in person. Seeing The Great Wall of China was the highlight of my trip....More

The Great Wall is almost beyond explanation. Climbing the wall and looking over the vast area of land that it protects is truly breathtaking. All that I could think about was that was standing atop a man-made stucture large enough to be viewed from space....More

The magnitude of the wall will amaze you! It is inconceivable to imagine building this wall over 2000 years ago, the man power and the ingenuity to construct such a structure in the mountains. It makes the long trip to China worth the effort.

Not an easy climb but worth it. You can see the magic of the place on the faces of the people on the wall, an amazing place to visit, a must for the 100 places to see before you die

If you want a workout, visit the Juyongguan portion of the Great Wall. Go early in the morning. We were the first group to arrive and spent about two hours. When we were leaving it was very crowed. "HE WHO DOES NOT REACH THE GREAT...More

Easy to get tickets at the gate. No Worries. The walk up is for young eager millennials, not older folks... Do the chair lift! Up in three minutes! A fine Subway at the base of the wall, lovely blue skies!
