The term "Bucket List" is bandied around many times for this attraction. It is well worth the accolade and anticipation. The views are great, the little buildings cute and the workout for the thighs is intense.

Not really much people here. Very beautiful with great views. On a clear sky day, if you can get it, you can see the wall go on forever. But Hard to climb due to uneven steep steps. It could be very hot in the summer...More

What a wonderful thing to see. Have wanted to visit the Great Wall my whole life. Was very busy & the climb is very steep but worth it. The views & the history are all worth it.

My first visit to the great wall was the Badaling Site. Its a better place but almost impossible to take a good picture. Juyong Pass seems to be restored to relieve the load off Badaling. For first timer to Beijing, Badaling is a better representation...More

This place is impressive! After the madness of Badaling, I took the bus here and I was one of only two people to get off the bus. This place is busy but not maddening like Badaling or Mutianyu. There are historic buildings to see at...More

This is beautiful and STUNNING....but get ready because the walk up is almost straight up. This is NOT for those who are not in shape. There are other parts of the Great Wall that are not as intensive to walk. However, the beauty as you...More

As far as I know there is no place to store your luggage, so it would be a good idea if you only took things to the pass that you can carry. Its a very steep climb but a lovely experience.
