See the actual Dead Sea Scrolls. There are some 40 thousand scrolls but the bits that are shown here represent the oldest copy of the Bible ever found and confirm today’s writings. Nice presentation, not crowded, worth the stop.

We loved the Sculpture garden, external architecture, scale model of the old City, and the incredible layout and breadth of art within. With numerous donations at every turn, the layout and brilliance in showing works to their best advantage was brilliant.

We were so impressed with an outstanding scale model of the City of David at the time of King Solomon. It is a MUST see to more fully understand the early Jerusalem in relationships to the Temple Mount. Awesome!!!

There are special exhibitions and activity places designed for children. It changes from time to time, so you should look at the museum site for what is now available for children (of all ages).
