We enjoyed our visit to this temple, was located in the street where we are staying so it was definitely on our list of things to see. Impressive wax sculptures of monks, we thought they were real... noticed the signs (no touching the wax sculptures)...More

More vibrant place to visit. Beautiful temples, ancient statues and buildings. A lot of religious activity. Great place!

The temple complex is beautiful with a lush garden around it. When you are in Chiang Mai it is worth visiting. Only downside is the many many tourists. The Sunday market is on the opposite side of the temple complex.

No visit in Chiang Mai is complete without seeing Wat Phra Singh. You have to pay a small fee for entrance. I am putting four stars because I went modestly dressed, and was still asked to cover my shoulders.

This is a very nice Wat but try to visit early in the day before the tour buses arrive! There were a few vendors set up selling food and handcrafted items.

This is perhaps the best temple of the city. It is the home of the most revered Phra Singh Buddha which most visitors mistakenly call the Lion Buddha because of the golden fan around its head. You can see excellent Lanna architecture in this complex...More

we came here the day we were leaving for the airport. Side parking on the street for free. It was nice to see but I wouldn’t go out of your way if you already plan on seeing some other temples in Thailand

Absolutely. You can walk to the Tha Pae Gate. I walked back and forth many times. The only problem is you will be sweating walking :)
