The nights in Chiang Mai were much cooler than the blistering hot day time during our stay in May. So the night market becomes very active. It is typical Thai fare. Be prepared to walk around and haggle. Good options to eat out also.

Was able to grab a 't-shirt' for the son and also enjoyed walking around and looking at all the different items for sale. Worth seeing at night for sure ;)

Opens about 6:30 PM and remains open until about 11:30 PM seven days a week. Hundreds and hundreds of vendor stalls offering everything under the sun. A multiplicity of handicrafts and just about everything under the sun including some really great and often unique clothing...More

This is a decent place to grab some food and find entertainment. Not the best market in Chiang Mai but it'll do in a pinch!

There are many souvenirs and some nice stuff to buy. We got cheap deal for magnets and really good deal for 3 ties for my husband. People there are willing to bargain

Had all the usual things you find in Thai markets. Had an excellent meal at one of the small restaurants in the food court.

So much fun and great shopping to do. Don't get tempted by the beginning - the same stuff shows up over and over again. Definitely haggle!

It’s a daily market. There are several markets in Chiang mai, for instance a Saturday and Sunday market as well. They are all a bit similar but the Saturday market had more little (and cheap) eat stands.

Yes, a lot of imitation items. But what's "genuine", anyways? Many US products are made in Asia! 😁 have fun shopping! Don't forget to bargain!
