There are some good reasons to visit this Wat with royal origins - it's free and beautiful construction from within. The not so good part being the location - it's quite a walk off public transport.

This is one of the most beautiful temples in Bangkok. All 4 levels are well worth visiting. Each level very different. We recommend walking up, and then use elevator to return to ground level. Great view from 4th floor.
