Favor yourself with at least a trip on the River to appeeciate the traffic, and see the many sites along the way. Avoid the Blue Flag, and get a better deal for 1/5 the price.
We took a river bus, not a river trip , it cost something ridiculously cheap like twenty baht and we had a great trip all the way down river and back again and saw real life, much more fun though as usual avoid rush hour.
This is an easy way to get around the city and reach a number of locations. There are all sorts of water taxis and scheduled water buses (perhaps a bit hard to figure out these schedules) and many hotels also offer shuttles. I think seeing a city by traveling on its major river…
River is nicely maintained but vl look good only at night. You can take a cruise dinner to enjoy scenic beauty of what arun, what phra, asiatic mall etc. BTS transport is nice and saves lot of time
Every Capital or almost every one has a river. And we usually always take a tour on it. Paris, Amsterdam London, Budapest, Prague...Should I continue? So why not doing the same in Bangkok? This will be a perfect break from the Temples and Shopping Centers. :)
