The buildings and temples are lovely, but as others have mentioned it is completely packed with huge Chinese tour groups. It is also very hot during the day with little shade. I would only bother going if you can get there exactly as it opens,...More

This was so beautiful and worth your time and money. 500 baht/ person. Remember to bring an umbrella, a hat, or anything can help you stand under the sun, and bring you a bottle of water, cold water is better.

The royal palace is a beautiful place to visit, but unfortunately tickets are oversold to giant groups of tourists. If you really want to see some great temples, I would recommend visiting other, lesser known ones in the city.
