Having the opportunity to sit with the Buddha, has to be one of the most incredible experiences. Although the city is heaving, there is a serenity in this place.....glorious.

However super crowded. Definitely recommend getting there super early. Also, no shorts allowed so wear long pants or you will have to buy them outside the grand palace. you can also rent them for 50 baht outside the entrance from people on the street.
