This isn’t a tourist destination but it’s interesting to see. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was actually looking for fabric. I expected this market to be like the markets in Mumbai but it’s simply textiles for the artistically inclined.

I've been 4 or 5 times and never seen any oil shops. Great place for buying beautiful fabric, handmade clothes from India, traditional Thai costumes and delicious Indian food. Sorry I could not be more help.
