Stunning Buddhist complex with a number of temples and areas to admire. Unfortunately our guide only took us to the lower temples and we missed out on the ones on the hillside. However, it was still beautiful, fine Thai architecture. Despite the fact that it...More

A 90 minute drive from Khoa Lak and it’s worth it. Although the temple is not the best it’s location and views make up for it. It was built in the late 1980s so reasonably modern in terms of historical sites. If you are fit...More

A slow steep drive to the car park gets you right at the entrance that has dragons the whole length of the driveway leading up to the Temple. The 20 Baht entry fee is well worth it, the view overlooking the large statues on the...More

Just short of 5 stars for mine (but not much). Perched high on a small mountain and offers great views back down towards the Phang Nga delta. Very quiet on our visit and extremely peaceful. As far as Wats go this is standard fair but...More

This is one of the more beautiful temples of Southern Thailand. It is only accessible by driving there. Some parts are not maintained well and good fitness is needed if you are to see everything as there is some strenuous walking.

The temple area is nice! At the lower part is a temple in the shape of a boat. When you go up you will pass three statues, further is a parking lot. From here you can go to the main area: beautiful temple, Buddha-relics inside!...More
