We visited La Paz on our first full day in Costa Rica and it set the bar very high for the rest of the trip. Absolutely GORGEOUS property, wide range of animals in nice enclosures, and friendly staff. It almost felt like Disney-level design while...More

My husband and I did this as a pit stop on our drive from San Jose to La Fortuna in our first full day in CR. I was worried that we may not see wildlife on activities we had planned later on the trip and...More

I've visited 3 times already and I'm always excited to go. There really is a sense of peace in the whole place, the animals are beautiful and the food superb. Get there early since it will likely get rainy anytime after noon.

This place should be a must for every visitor. We really enjoyed it. From the zoolike beginning to the hike down the 'waterfall alley'. We would have loved to stay longer. If you plan to go there and like hiking you should at least plan...More

Animals were in tiny cages and were very distressed. So sad to see. Please don't go there and support this horrible place. There is so much room for bigger enclosures but all the owners care about is making money.
