Very disappointing. Rubbish strewn everywhere while tourists take grinning selfies amongst it and people working in tourism lounge around waiting for the tourists. Paid good money to go here, it should be cleaned every day. Won't be back to Thailand any time soon.

This is by far one of the most interesting and beautiful beach that we’ve visited in Thailand.

Depending on what airline you fly they might have the paper to fill in on the final flight. Kuala Lumpur - Krabi. That can speed up the time spent in immigration if you pre-fill them. I would not have any problems bringing children on the long tail boats. They are very safety conscious and everyone has to sit “inside” the boats where the sides are covered. There is also life jackets easily accessible.
