The area is beautiful with very interesting architectural buildings/rest pavilions/ponds, etc. It is old, and could be kept up better, but it's still nice. There are more modern sculptures around too, here and there. Lots of photo ops, there were at least 2 wedding/fashion groups...More
Very much worth the visit -a very interesting look at a Chinese residence of the wealthy. Feng Shui to the max, design supreme with beauty at the core. Tucked away in a little corner of Taipei but really worth the visit.
This is off the beaten path, we got there by taking a taxi ride for about 10 mins - it was super cheap to do and saved some time!
