Good for street food and cheap shopping. Has quite a number of Taiwan specialty food for souvenirs and bubble tea shops. Been there for more than five times but will likely still go again. The fried sweet potato balls are vegetarian and so good too!
Ximending comes alive at night. Crowded with people and countless places to eat, buy stuff or people watch. We enjoyed a lot of street theatre and performances. We stayed a week in Ximending and never get bored exploring the warren of alleys and streets.
