This part of Taiwan is almost unspoiled. There are great coastal vistas with a rugged mountain range just inland. There are also a lot of farms that grow lovely things like Custard Apples as well as a wide range of other fruits and vegetables.

Nice area for a swim with lots of pebbles/stones to walk and sit on; they just have these signs everywhere about not swimming but guess what? We all did! Too hot not to!

The drive was pleasant but nothing exceptionally beautiful. The roads are good passing through many small and large towns.
