Koh Panyee is the village on stilts. Stayed at the James Bond Bungalows. Basic but clean and tidy. Not much to do other than the boat trips. At no time did the place smell! Nearly every residence among the maze of walkways has a shop...More

I liked this place for the great food that was served. It was authentic local fisherman food, slightly on the spicy side. But that was fine with me as I like spicy food. The shopping is best left for James Bond Island as the stuff...More

I was sooo excited to go because of the soccer team. Panyee is actually pretty depressing, the sewage under the village is awful. The pearl farms are interesting, but there wasn't much to see there

Visiting Ko Panyi and the James Bond Island was one of the highlights of our trip to Phuket. The Andaman Sea must rate as one of the most beautiful places in the world.
